[00:00:16] Speaker A: Hello. Hello. Welcome back to another episode of the Dish with Tish Love island edition. We're here. We're queer. The season's almost over. I'm here with my bestie for the restie Decatur to my Trinity. [00:00:42] Speaker B: Oh, my God. [00:00:44] Speaker A: Megan F. What's up, Mud flight. [00:00:48] Speaker B: What's up? Lol. That's so cute. The cater to my Trinity, but that would also insinuate that I'm in a lot of situationship and. No, I'm kidding. [00:01:02] Speaker A: I mean, are you. Oh, Nami blast. [00:01:06] Speaker B: I'm not in a single ship. There's no relation or situation. There's no ships sailing through this dock. [00:01:15] Speaker A: And that's why. And that's why. [00:01:18] Speaker B: No, I am just being myself, okay? [00:01:23] Speaker A: I'm just being myself. You don't put on a baby voice when you talk to boys to, like, get them to like you. [00:01:30] Speaker B: No, I just sound like Kenzie. I just think. I just really want to take you home to my family and do the splits on you. [00:01:45] Speaker A: I really want to put my clam and slam it. So you've heard Carl's a mess, but have you gotten into. Carl's a man. [00:01:58] Speaker B: Carl is a man. Stop body. Ody. Oda. [00:02:03] Speaker A: Oh, my God. I'm still. I can't wait to see their travel content. [00:02:11] Speaker B: They're gonna look so good. So good. Just like, in her beautiful dresses. He's just. All the pictures are just going to be him looking at her in admiration, Googling her goodies. [00:02:26] Speaker A: Honey. [00:02:27] Speaker B: Google doodling. [00:02:30] Speaker A: No, they're going to be like, I could see them in Japan. I see them, like, all over the world, just traveling, making cool stuff together. Oh, okay. Well, one thing Love island is gonna do is it's gonna remind you that chemistry isn't the same as compatibility. And that's kind of what we've been. As it's dwindling down, we're getting down to the end of the season. It is becoming glaringly obvious. And it's so hard because it's like, I wish we could be like Melanie Kada. Save yourselves. Like, I believe Melanie's favorite sandwich shop in Philly was like, you can get a free lifetime of Philly cheesesteaks if you dump sincere. [00:03:24] Speaker B: You're kidding me. [00:03:26] Speaker A: No. [00:03:26] Speaker B: You're. You're. Are you shitting my dick? That's hilarious. [00:03:32] Speaker A: Yeah, it's insane. [00:03:36] Speaker B: What do you. Do you think that if she, like, gets home and sees that, then she really will take them up on it? [00:03:42] Speaker A: I don't. I'm very curious what her and Keda are gonna do when they get out of here because I am just like, I don't know. I. This is something I said to Kim. Shout out, kim, love you. We were talking about, like, Anaya kept saying, I gotta trust my gut. I gotta trust my gut. And I'm like, some of you bitches need kombucha because your gut is fucked up. You need to go get some gastrointestinal procedure because your gut check is your gut barometer is fucked up. Okay? Like, I'm standing five inches in front of my tv, like, with my arms crossed like a man watching a Final Four game sometimes. And it's not even that. It's not even that crazy, right? Like, it's not like. It's like anything super scandalous is happening at this point. But I just want my girls to be released from the shackles of these manipulative as men, you know, these whiny [00:04:52] Speaker B: little baby child man child men. Absolutely. Well. And it's like the. Their guts. You're so right. Their guts are not that great because, like, of course, we are seeing way much, like, way more than they would actually see because we have 80 cameras watching them at any given time. But that's almost not an excuse because they're there. Like, they're seeing and breathing the same air as these men. They really should know. They really should have a better intuition of, this man is a fucking idiot with all of them, for the most part. [00:05:37] Speaker A: And it's like Casa Amor has consistently, especially in. I mean, I feel like everywhere, particularly with the men, but in America, Casa Amor has consistently proved that if you give a mediocre man an inch, he will act like he invented the motherfucking mile, okay? Like, he is going to run amok and be like, I was testing our connection. That's always the excuse. Girl, if I would be myself. Girl, if you got to do all that, then what are. What. What do you mean? I just still. I'm like, kada, not you. Kada. And Mel. I'm like, not y' all holding Kenzie to a higher standard. But not your men, [00:06:31] Speaker B: By the way. I just, like. Side note, you look like Lizzie McGuire. I just need to say that if you're only listening to this, she's got these, like, orange glasses on with the orange cute blouse and the ear crochet dress. Crochet dress. Like, you literally are giving, Lizzie McGuire. You are giving. Like, if. I'm sorry, I'm, like, shouting because I'm so passionate. You look so good. The. You're giving. Like, if Lizzie McGuire went on love island to, like, tell these boys to stfu. Just saying. That's my little side. [00:07:12] Speaker A: Oh, my God. That is literally the nicest thing. Thing I've heard all day. Sometimes we bake in, sometimes we make it. And one step closer each and every day, we can figure it out all the way. And that's on Lizzy Island. [00:07:42] Speaker B: You said sometimes we're baking. [00:07:46] Speaker A: Is that not what it says? Sometimes we bake it, sometimes we make it. Hello. [00:07:56] Speaker B: Sometimes we make it, sometimes we fake it. We get. Wait, she's not a baker. [00:08:07] Speaker A: Someone in the family might be. [00:08:10] Speaker B: You know what? You're right. I think her dad was baking some shit. [00:08:14] Speaker A: Every once in a while, he was baking some shit. They were sitting there cooking. That's a bonding exercise. That's a family. [00:08:20] Speaker B: And you know who else baked on that show? Matt. He baked some schemes and some menacing things to do about the house. So maybe you are right. You are correct. [00:08:34] Speaker A: Yes. Thank you. That's literally so kind. I love that Lizzie would go in there and she'd say, hey, guys, this is really bad. And, girls, I'm gonna give you guys a pep talk. She'd be like, anaya, get away from Casey Penn. [00:09:01] Speaker B: Not Casey Penny. [00:09:03] Speaker A: Casey Penny. [00:09:06] Speaker B: Which is where most of her clothes probably came from anyway. [00:09:08] Speaker A: Yes. T. Which is. [00:09:11] Speaker B: Which was the moment in 2001. [00:09:14] Speaker A: It was. It was. Anywho, were you a little underwhelmed by the second half of movie night? Because I felt like it could have been one episode. [00:09:28] Speaker B: I totally agree. Totally. They made it seem like it was gonna be. The whole episode was gonna be part two, and it was kind of just Kent Kenzie getting raimed, which she needed to. [00:09:43] Speaker A: Yeah. Which is fine. But also, like, I wish they would have showed Zach talking shit about Trinity, because that needs to be addressed. I wish they would have showed Trinity and Bryce crying, missing each other. [00:10:00] Speaker B: Yes. [00:10:01] Speaker A: Like something cute and heartwarming. I don't know. It was just kind of, like, a little underwhelming. And I'm just like, oh, my God. I just. Please, Lord, free my girls. I just wonder. I truly wonder what they're gonna do when they get out and they see all of us, like, leave. If they're gonna be like, oh, shit, I should go. Or if they're gonna pull a Shelly. Like, how Shelly stayed with Ace for, like, a minute after. [00:10:33] Speaker B: Yeah. Stood by her, man. Yeah. I don't know. I don't know. I also just don't like in movie night. I. Across the board that it's not. It's like, what's what's behind the door or what is the luck of the draw visual that we're going to see? Like it's not. They don't just sit there and play everything through. It's like whatever they end up choosing. You know what I, you know what I'm trying to say does that it's all by the luck of the draw. So like there are sometimes even on like UK that some boy is pulling some fuck shit and we don't even see it because the girls didn't choose that person or like they didn't choose that door to look at if. Well, the words aren't wording for me right now, but you know what I mean? I hate that they just don't flow it all the way through. [00:11:29] Speaker A: Give us everything we want, everything we'll watch. I just don't understand. I'm like, how are y' all not understanding by now that we will fucking watch all of it? [00:11:42] Speaker B: Every, every single moment. You guys can make it four full episodes. I'm there, I'm good. [00:11:49] Speaker A: I'm locked the in. [00:11:50] Speaker B: I'm sat. My popcorn. I'm sitting. I'm sat. Seated, eating. Like Corbin watching it on the couch. [00:12:00] Speaker A: Absolutely. Well, speaking of corn, Ben, him and Parmesan did get the boot. Sayonara. And it is kind of crazy though that by the end I was like, the irony of them acknowledging, I mean that they don't know each other on a deep left level after already being closed off, lol. And then them both being the voice of reason when, When they had to do like select the couples to send home when two people went home or four people went home, I should say two couples. And I was like, this is crazy. Like not them actually making sense. And it's kind of funny because towards the end it was like, I fear that Corbin is better than a lot of the men that are left. Every guy that's left I like because of his girl. I don't like any of these men besides Bryce and Carl. Everyone else I'm like, you're not great. Like your girlfriend makes you great. But Corbin I can at least appreciate because I rather deal with a self aware villain, if you will, than a self proclaimed nice guy that plays my concerns and feelings and hands me half truths. That is so does and sincere. AKA sent from I'm phone. Warm regards. [00:13:50] Speaker B: Not warm regards. No. That's so real. Because I feel like anytime anyone up in real life, in our everyday life and also in reality tv, we're. I feel like I say this often and I'm Sure. I know you do too. Is like, I almost wish they sucked or I almost wish they knew they sucked because I would hate them less if they were just owning sucking. Like, I still don't like this person, AKA Corn Bane. But I'm. I totally agree. It's like, at least I can just hate you with no extra like questions. There's no question of like, why are you doing X, Y and Z? You just kind of suck and that makes you suck less than the guys like you said that are self proclaimed good guys. [00:14:38] Speaker A: It just irks me so much. And it's like, I mean, at the end of the day, no man will ever be the reason for a Love island win. You know? Like, Love island is for the girls, the divas, the dolls. We root for the girlies. We support women, the ladies. It's Barbie's dream house, not the mojo dojo casa house. Okay? [00:15:02] Speaker B: Which I saw some memes that people were comparing Zach asking Kate to go exclusive with the same energy of Ken asking Barbie to be his girlfriend. [00:15:13] Speaker A: Yes. [00:15:13] Speaker B: Like, maybe we'll be together in the future, sometime, maybe forever. [00:15:20] Speaker A: And it's like, oh, I wish she had the restraint and self awareness to say no. Just like Barbie did. [00:15:34] Speaker B: That's not what. That's not it, man. And you can definitely tell she's like forcing herself to feel okay with it. I felt so bad right after they went exclusive, fucking Casey asked TC to be his girlfriend. Oh, you could see the look on her face. Oh my God. [00:15:53] Speaker A: I was like, oh God. Not like it's giving. Like when someone gets engaged at someone's wedding, it's like, bitch, this is not about you. [00:16:07] Speaker B: No. So real. And like the bride saying it's okay even though she's pissed as fuck. Yeah. She's like, fine, go for it. Like that is what Kate is giving. She's. She's talking about it so much. She's fully trying to convince herself that's [00:16:24] Speaker A: like 100%, you know what it's giving. It's giving on in the city when Danielle wore the light pink dress to I can't remember her name, Lizzie's best friend's wedding. And it does look white at nighttime. And she's like the bitch that wore white to my wedding. And she's like it's fake bitch. [00:16:51] Speaker B: And like that's. None of this is to say that like any ill vibes or energy towards Keda. I feel bad that she's with. Oh yeah, Boo boo noodle man. Child's whiny boy Zach. I feel bad that she's with him. And then, like, clearly they gotta take it to the end at this point, if they even get there. Because talking about, like, the girls being the reason that anyone. Can you hear the squeaky behind me a little bit? Yeah, that's okay. We'll leave it in. Whatever. This is raw, baby. Talking about girls, we choose the winners because of the girl I voted for Melanie and Sincere in the vote last night because there were kind of no other options. And I was like, I don't want Melanie to go. I really like Melanie. I think she's being an idiot and forgiving him, but what are you going to do? But I just, like, didn't want her to go, so I voted for her even though I fucking hate him. [00:17:55] Speaker A: I mean, if I had to choose between Melanie and. Warm regards, Casey, Penny and Tito's and Clam Slam and Dylan. I'm gonna pick Melanie. [00:18:09] Speaker B: That's what. That was exactly it. Because I put obviously Anaya and Carl, Zack and Kada and Trinity and. And Bryce. I was like, I gotta do the other of the core four. [00:18:25] Speaker A: Yeah, I. I did the same thing. I was like, this is annoying, but I mean, what are we gonna do? [00:18:34] Speaker B: Literally, what are we gonna do? [00:18:37] Speaker A: I. Yeah. Also, did you know Melanie is a model for Vance? [00:18:43] Speaker B: Oh, I saw that. [00:18:44] Speaker A: How cool is that? [00:18:46] Speaker B: Dope. She looks so cool. She's like. She really does give. Skater kid. [00:18:51] Speaker A: No, I'm. As if I could like her more. I. I need her to be free. I need her to be free. Oh, my God. I just feel like love should, like, put you at ease. And she is not at ease with Sincere, you know, And I fear, like, with Bryce and Trinity and Carla Danaya, like, they're so eager to make things easy for her, yet easy for the girls, the women that they're with. Like, they don't have to worry about if he'll stop doing little things to make them happy or if they're gonna protect them or if they'll lie. Because it. It just like, genuinely seems like they were raised just like true gentlemen and we saw, like, with their families. Like, that was so sweet. And I just feel like Bryce and Carl are one of few men on the show who genuinely like women. You know, not only that, but they actually respect women as well. And I just really hope that those two couples in particular work out because I could see them working together long term. True. [00:20:16] Speaker B: I have a note for the editors of Love island too, because they really do eat down so much. But I do get a little annoyed with, like, how every time we see, like, some of our favorite couples, even some of our not favorite couples, but, like, there's a lot of honing in on parts of the conversation that could be, like, they could be sitting there for an hour, but we're only getting the chunk of them talking about their connection, and we're not getting the, like, regular parts of the conversation. And that bugs me because I want to see more of Trinity and Bryce just goofing. We see splurts of it here and there, but they're usually more in, like, a transition as opposed to, like, part, like, what we're seeing from them sitting in Soul Ties for two hours, chit chatting. I want to see more of the real, raw stuff. So that's my note for the editors. Let us see the actual connection forming and not them talking about the connection itself. [00:21:17] Speaker A: 100%. 100%. I agree with that. Sometimes I feel like they leave certain things out or they focused on the wrong things that no one really cares about. Like, I don't care about that. [00:21:35] Speaker B: Yes. [00:21:37] Speaker A: Yeah, I. I fear that. I feel like I'm saying that all the time. I fear that. [00:21:45] Speaker B: I fear. [00:21:48] Speaker A: I do. Okay, this is a hot take. I, Mel and Sincere are giving Katie and Schwartz. [00:22:03] Speaker B: Oh. Oh. [00:22:09] Speaker A: Where it's like, I love her. I will follow her wherever I ride for her. She's a badass. And he is not a terrible person. He just is a people pleaser that don't know how to act. [00:22:28] Speaker B: No. So, so real. The people pleaser really just shook me to my core of you making that parallel. Because it's so true. He doesn't care about how anything he does affects his relationship. It's only in the moment. He's only thinking about making sure the pot isn't stirred. And it's like, babe, you're stirring the pot by not touching the fucking spoon. Dude. That was such a. That was such a sincere metaphor that I just pulled out. [00:23:01] Speaker A: It was [00:23:05] Speaker B: so you just, like, you can't, like, stir the pot without, like, stirring the spoon first. Did that sound like him? [00:23:14] Speaker A: Yes. [00:23:15] Speaker B: Thank you for the support. I didn't feel it in my core, but I appreciate the support. No, you're very sincere. You're very sincere friends. [00:23:23] Speaker A: Warm regards. [00:23:26] Speaker B: You're just going to put warm regards at the end of every text you send me now? [00:23:30] Speaker A: Literally, or just different signatures. All the best. [00:23:36] Speaker B: Let's just start writing very formal text messages to each other. [00:23:40] Speaker A: Best of luck on your future endeavors. [00:23:43] Speaker B: Per my last text message. [00:23:47] Speaker A: Honestly, I feel, like, Sincere. Like, there are boy moms and there are Moms of sons. And I feel like, you know, I. [00:24:02] Speaker B: When I tell you it's a difference, I never. I've never heard that before. And I. That need. That. That needs to be shouted from the rooftops. That is one of the most nail on the head things I've ever heard in my life. Having. Being someone who is a woman in the world and also just, like, actually works in child care and, like, sees little boys growing up. That is so nail on the head, dude. Oh, my God. [00:24:34] Speaker A: Oh, my God. [00:24:36] Speaker B: Sorry. I think I just came out of my body a little bit with that one sentence. [00:24:40] Speaker A: Sometimes we fake it, sometimes we make it. Okay, but you know what I mean, though. I just fear. I feel like he is the example of that. That's my brother. Me and my mom are pulling up like, yo, what the fuck is going on? Like, what are you doing? I'm treating her like this. Like, I just. I'm gonna be like, girl, you gonna be prepared when you get that phone back, because you gonna be plucked when you get that phone back. And just. Even the way that Warm Regards slept in the bed and Melanie slept outside with that owl, I'm like, first of all, do you know how down the wrong path you have to be to get a rarely caught on camera villa lore owl to find you? Like, girl, that's the universe sending animals. Because the livestream, a postcard and a movie night double feature did not work. Like, if he would have slept outside, that owl would have attacked his ass. Okay? [00:25:55] Speaker B: And I'm just like, yeah, she. He would have been the next. We would have had a staircase part 2. Owl theory. Owl theory. Did. Did Melanie murder him and push him down the stairs from Soul Ties or. Or did an owl attack him? [00:26:18] Speaker A: Oh, my God, not the staircase, bro. I'm scra. [00:26:27] Speaker B: You're so right, though. [00:26:30] Speaker A: Like, he saw Warm and cozy in bed. Meanwhile, she's literally sleeping outside with owls like Bear, and they all told him to give her the bed. Like, [00:26:42] Speaker B: okay. But that maybe makes me think back to what you were saying before about how maybe he doesn't have anyone holding him down in his life. Maybe they do hold him down. He just doesn't fucking listen. Maybe he literally is just one of the most self absorbed, selfish people. What do you mean? You let her sleep on the fucking bed outside? What do you mean? Crazy? [00:27:05] Speaker A: No, it's. It's so crazy. I just. I can't wrap my head around it some more. Final little takes that I want to say before we go. Just like, rapid fire. I just think him Sleeping outside. Diabolical. Carl releasing the butterfly is embedded in my brain. I could not think of a more green flag of a man than when I saw him release that little moth outside. [00:27:40] Speaker B: I think I texted you because I was watching a little bit after you had watched the episode, and I was like, did you see the fucking. Carl releasing. Incredible. [00:27:48] Speaker A: Yes, yes. And also Carl, this. Let's just call it Carl. Carl Quarter. [00:27:55] Speaker B: Carl quarter. [00:27:56] Speaker A: No, but I got other stuff. [00:27:57] Speaker B: Oh, this? Oh, you mean this Rapid fire. That's funny. That's funny. [00:28:01] Speaker A: I like. Most of it is about Carl Loki. [00:28:05] Speaker B: That's a new segment in every episode that you have now. [00:28:07] Speaker A: Carl Corner. Revenge is sweet, but I think this girl is a little sweeter. Stop. Where did they find him? Like, please. Hello. [00:28:22] Speaker B: He fell out of the fucking sky, dude. An angel sent from heaven. [00:28:28] Speaker A: He was released just like that moth. Honey. He just was. [00:28:33] Speaker B: Mother. Mother Nature, the universe of creation said, here you go. Go. Go to fi. Wait, not Fiji. Wait, are they in Fiji or Mallorca? [00:28:43] Speaker A: They're in Fiji. [00:28:44] Speaker B: UK's in Mallorca. [00:28:45] Speaker A: Yep. [00:28:46] Speaker B: Go to Fiji. Fly. Spread your wings and spread the legs of this beautiful woman and make her happy. [00:28:53] Speaker A: So good. Love that. I loved Anaya saying, being chosen is not a prize. I'd rather be respected. I'd rather be told the truth. I'd rather not look like a fool in front of America Queen. I was like, there we go. There we go. Someone gets it. [00:29:15] Speaker B: Yes, yes. Putting literally the literal words of what we're screaming on the Internet and just, like, knowing she just knew. [00:29:22] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:29:23] Speaker B: Just know. She didn't have to see what our feedback. She. She's so down. I love her. [00:29:29] Speaker A: And I also feel like she did not need to apologize. It's always a black woman being the most considerate while being held to the most impossible standards. She's a better woman than I because the way I wouldn't have said shit to that nigga, I would have kept on keeping on. Okay, yeah. Like, absolutely not. But another hot take. I think Casey Penny still likes Anaya. I think he just can't explore that because it's too far gone. It's too gone. And he doesn't want to disrespect his connection with Tito's. And Carl being there, being such a good guy. Like I said previously, Carl is who KC pretended to be has made him realize that. And even down to complimenting anaya, complimenting Carl, KC's like, Damn, I don't think she ever talked to me like that. Like, he's always an earshot distance. Like, I don't know. I just. He just knows friendship is as far as she's ever gonna go now. Like, that's more that she'll allow. So he just had to make it right. And they both apologize. But that's one of my hot takes. [00:30:53] Speaker B: Totally, Totally agree. You can see the way he looks at her from across the villa or even at a recoupling or whatever. It's like there's yearning behind those eyeballs. And like, you. I'm gonna do Sincere. You built a bridge, and you burned it down, and you burned it down, and there's just no way to burn to re. To rebuild burnt wood. No, because it's the epitome. Oh, my God. Okay. She's a. She's a Hamilton Lizzie McGuire. [00:31:38] Speaker A: Something else. I want to talk about Amora. Her comments were weird. She should. She said, never put up with it. And you watched Sincere move the way he did and still explored him like a dumbass. So I didn't appreciate that. And her being a snitch on Jen and then immediately dumped from the island is a type of karma I like to see, and I can't. And I need to watch after sun to see if they talked about how Gall's coffee shop slash surf shop gave a bunch of free shit to women named Jen. I think that's so fucking funny that they did that. [00:32:27] Speaker B: The karma of. Sorry. That took me, like, 7,000 years to say. The karma of feeling so powerful in, like, oh, the guys are choosing the girls. I can now not choose this girl who brought me in. Him feeling like I have the choice. You can tell he's just, like, on a fucking power trip. They thought that was literally in the same night. Get booted is so such good tv. You can. You literally can't write it. You can't write it. Even though they did. [00:32:58] Speaker A: But you. [00:32:58] Speaker B: You can't write it. You know what I mean? [00:33:00] Speaker A: Yes. A hundred percent. Like, I was just like, this is. Y' all thought y' all were doing your big one. Y' all thought y' all were really, like, doing that. And for you to immediately go home. Immediately. That's what you get. And I'm glad Jen said. I. I'm happy. It's not just me. And I was glad, too, because she [00:33:28] Speaker B: might as well have been an OG. Like, she really has OG status. For sure. [00:33:33] Speaker A: 100%. 100%. And I was glad that she got her little. Her little moment. Caleb's popping off everyone's. We'll see what he about to do outside of the Villa. I've been seeing his little content pop up on my feed and I'm like, oh, God, really? Yeah. Caleb's about to be like, [00:33:58] Speaker B: we're gonna see some personality come out finally. [00:34:01] Speaker A: I think so. I think we might love that part of him. Yeah. [00:34:06] Speaker B: I hope I like him because I'm at the point where I'm like, I don't know if I like him or if I dislike him because there's nothing about him that I know that I that part. So hopefully I can form an opinion on his social medias. [00:34:19] Speaker A: We'll see. We'll see. [00:34:21] Speaker B: Okay. Caleb. [00:34:23] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. But I'm. I as much as Jen, I was like, she's such a nothing burger. By the end, she was like, spitting facts and gems and calling people out and holding people accountable. I was like, wait, I actually fuck with you. High key. [00:34:40] Speaker B: Yeah. I think she got, like a bad rap by association because Kenzie latched onto her and we can't stand Kenzie, so. [00:34:47] Speaker A: And Gabrielle. [00:34:50] Speaker B: Gabrielle. I was like, who? Oh, Gabrielle. [00:34:59] Speaker A: You know what I mean? Speaking. Speaking of Ariana, she got nominated for her first Emmy for hosting. [00:35:09] Speaker B: Oh, my God. Yes. [00:35:13] Speaker A: For She's a jolly good lady She's a jolly good lady She's a jolly good lady Wish nobody could. I would show anybody Canada. [00:35:33] Speaker B: The social clip that I pull is just going to be. You're singing throughout this. [00:35:40] Speaker A: Oh, my God. Oh, Lord. And honestly, you're welcome. Because she's got vocals. Begin. Oh, well, I mean, in all seriousness, I think it's. It's either gonna be Carl and Anaya, because everything Anaya went through, but I. Or it's gonna be brinity. And I feel like it's going to be Brinity. [00:36:18] Speaker B: I think Carlin and I will get second place. I think they'll get runner up. [00:36:23] Speaker A: I think so too. [00:36:24] Speaker B: But I think it is going to [00:36:25] Speaker A: be Brinity, which I'm fine with. It's very interesting how this season played out. I did like it better than last season because it was less, like, less Huda and Ace and it was more friendship. I did feel like it kind of lost the plot a little bit and like, they could have done more in the sense of, like, I don't know. I just. Us just sometimes, like, I fear, like, they're so close to cracking it, but it really is the difference between us and uk in us, it's so sexual. First, like, I know the first episode we were like, oh, they're kissed. Way to break the ice, Whatever. But then it's like, you Were saying a while ago, there's no yearning and. And there's no like build up for it. And everyone's so like a kiss is a handshake and it kind of took away from like the fun of a first kiss and the girls being like, oh my God, we made out and like, ah. Where it's like, UK is so good because they still had that and there was so much like exploration. Like, seriously, if you are not watching uk bro, it is so fudgeing good. Oh my God, it's so good. That's really where my heart has been. 100%. [00:38:06] Speaker B: Yeah. It's the epitome of love island. [00:38:10] Speaker A: It really is. It really is. And I just feel like, yeah, the us is so like sexual first and like they're so big. [00:38:22] Speaker B: They do too much. [00:38:23] Speaker A: They do too much and there's too many things. They don't be doing all that. [00:38:28] Speaker B: They're just sitting on beanbags drinking their iced coffee. [00:38:32] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. And I did appreciate. They did. There's. This is what I mean. They're getting there because they did have a lot of normal people. Like, yes, you know, I did appreciate having like Sean the guy, the cop guy and a Caleb. I mean, obviously not acab, but you know what I mean? Just like I do normal day people versus like I'm an influencer. Like, I did appreciate that. But. Yeah, I just. They're not, they're not quite there yet. Like, it did kind of fall off for me after movie night because I was like, that's it. And then it just was kind of like the writing was on the wall. Like I could see like, you're going home, you're going home. Like, you know what I mean? It was so kind of obvious. So I was like, oh, maybe one more bombshell could come for the girls or something, you know, to switch it up. But whatever. [00:39:33] Speaker B: That will be crazy. If they did throw in another bombshell, I mean, they would have such a hard time. I didn't even think about that. [00:39:44] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. Well, they've done it before, so I don't know. That's how. What's her name? One Amber. [00:39:54] Speaker B: Oh my God, that's so right. You're so right. Oh my God. [00:39:58] Speaker A: But I guess in a way we kind of had that with Carl. Like they did give Anaya that. [00:40:04] Speaker B: That's true. That's true. We did. Maybe, maybe they even we're planning on sending other bombshells in that we haven't seen. And then they were like, oh, wait, the Internet loves Carl. We need. Yes, yes, maybe we need to sub him in for whoever the extra bombshells were possibly going to be, right? [00:40:23] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Well, it's been a time. I'm going to be in Europe for the finale, but we're going to have to zoom again. I'll be. It'll probably be like an ungodly hour for me. But we're gonna have to pod about the finale. [00:40:44] Speaker B: We sure will. I've got it blocked in my calendar, babe. [00:40:48] Speaker A: Amazing. Amazing. And you guys are amazing. And this has been. Summers are supposed to be fun. And being able to dish about Love island with you guys another year has been such a treat. And doing it with my best friend who is also such a die hard islander, it's so much fun. It's so much fun. I'm sad it's coming to an end, but I'm excited to at least see the few people that I enjoy get their flowers and see how much the Internet is rooting for those two couples. End of list.
