[00:00:17] Hello, hello Dishers. And welcome back to another episode of the Dish with Tish. [00:00:24] Oh my God. Is anyone else experience experiencing emotional whiplash? [00:00:29] Like, what is happening? [00:00:32] Last week was so intense. For me personally, I feel like Virgo season always, like the beginning of Virgo season is. I don't know if it's the Virgo moon in me. I have a lot of Virgo in my chart. But like, Virgo season is never fun. It's never fun for me. I'll be so real, I'd be down bad. I'd be feeling my emotions. And I guess that does make sense with the Virgo moon in me. But speaking of that, you guys, chances are if you're listening to this, you're an astrological tarot reading kind of person. [00:01:13] And on the night of the new moon, the new moon was in Virgo. I have a Virgo moon. I was with my family and I gave everyone a tarot reading. [00:01:25] And I fear I've tapped into something like my inner bruja, my inner Stevie Nicks, the Scorpio sun, my spooky loving ass. I fear something I felt so it was so accurate, like to the point where my little brother, who does not believe in that stuff at all, once I finished his, he was like emotional. [00:01:50] He was like, thank you so much for that reading. Like, I believe in it now. Like everyone's was spooky accurate, even mine personally. [00:02:00] So I'm coming in with that power, you guys. I'm coming in with that power. We've got a lot to discuss. [00:02:08] I hope y' all are doing good. How are you? I hope you're well. I hope you've been taking care of yourself, staying hydrated. If you're a Chicago girly, I know this weather has been back and forth. I hope you are, like I said, getting those electrolytes, staying hydrated and taking care of yourself mentally, physically, emotionally. [00:02:31] And if you're not, I'm here to bring some joy to you in these dark times because we've got a lot to be thankful for. We've got a lot to be thankful for and we're going to get into it right now. [00:02:43] So we're going to start this off with my girl, Ms. Taylor. Allison motherfucking Swift and her man Travis Kelce are officially engaged. [00:02:58] She dropped it on a frickin Tuesday in August, girl. [00:03:06] She said, your English teacher and your PE teacher are getting married. And I could hear, I could hear the bell. [00:03:19] No, but literally, I'm so happy for her. I've talked about this ad nauseam But I. I knew. I knew. I knew their end game. I knew it. And I thought I noticed a tan on that ring finger. I clocked that. But I was like, you know, she wears a lot of jewelry, so maybe it was just, you know, but to wear something on that finger, it's very telling. And, you know, just let the record show that I clocked it. It was clocked. And I'm so happy for them. That is so great. I mean, this is, like, the closest we're gonna get to a royal wedding in America, and it's just so fabulous. I just. What a year for her. She got her master's back. She got engaged. [00:04:06] She's dropping a new album. Like, girl, talk about a witch. Honey, give me the manifestation spells. I mean, I guess she kind of has her entire music career. Like, her whole. Everything she's been writing about, everything she's been trying to get has led her to this point and with this man. And it just. [00:04:26] It makes so much sense, and I just. I love that for them. I really do. So congratulations to the future Kelsey's. [00:04:35] The future Kelsey's is crazy. I can't even believe I'm saying this sentence right now. Oh, my God. I truly. I just love that for them. I really, really do. I love it. [00:04:47] Now, y', all, I had to come back on here and record a new segment because Mr. Ace Green had to talk sideways out of his mouth. And I'm sure if you follow the Instagram, you. You saw a little snippet of my hot take. But we're gonna really dive into this because this was a diabolical interview. This was. This was up there with Huda's call her daddy. Like, this was someone trying to make it better for themselves and somehow makes it 10 times worse. Worse for themselves. Like, bro, be so, so serious. I just. [00:05:33] Honestly, anybody who says that they're proud of how Ace showed up, literally, I cannot relate. I don't understand that logic, because to me, let's. Let's look at this interview as a whole. Ace literally said, I'm going to dogpile on Nick and Alandria. Even though I talk about how much I respect her and care about her, knowing how much adversity that they have faced, knowing the death threats that they have faced, I'm just gonna. I'm just gonna dogpile on them. Just because Nick gave a diplomatic answer for a question about something that I supposedly don't care about. Nick is a Pisces. Like, hello. That's, of course what he's gonna do. But in the next breath, I'm also gonna say that I was willingly an accomplice in helping Taylor waste Elandria's time because the producers told him to. [00:06:34] And you knew. You knew, and Taylor knew that Taylor did not like her in that way. You were literally caught on camera being complicit, but somehow Nick owes you. [00:06:48] I'm. I'm sorry. Two plus two is not equaling four, babe. Like Jeremiah said. Does that make sense, Ace? Does that make sense? [00:06:57] Like, so the grace that you want us to give to you, you can't seem to give to Nick for giving a diplomatic answer. [00:07:07] I'm sorry. [00:07:10] Here's the thing. Like, I know a lot of people are giving him points because he stood on business, but. [00:07:20] No, that's not standing on business. [00:07:23] You are taking joy in providing more pain to your friend and your girl's really good friend. Like, if I'm Shelly, I'm like, bro, we can't catch a fucking break. Like, I'm in the trenches right now, and the one person who literally knows exactly what I'm going through. You just dogged her and her man and their relationship based on something. When was the last time you had a conversation with Nick or Alandra about their relationship? [00:07:53] Because I think what you're referring to is when y' all were still in the villa, and even then, you were 10 toes down for them talking about that's how you're supposed to feel when you're in love. [00:08:05] So what changed? [00:08:06] What? What changed? I. I literally don't understand. [00:08:12] Like, you're. I think you're hoping that the fact that the producers were villains this year for us to just be like, yeah, you did what you had to do. You did what you had to do. [00:08:25] Yes. And, yes, the producers were villains. They were trash. I really do think they all need to be let go. This is where I'm like. I think people who have been watching the show for a long time have some kind of educational background. All of the above. These are the people that should be running these shows. [00:08:47] But just because the producers were villains and you're calling them out doesn't make you not a villain. Like, does it mean that you aren't the villain yourself, guy? And it's just. It's. It's crazy because I really. I started liking his motherfucking ass. I really did. [00:09:07] But then he lost me. He lost me that competitive Leo shit. I just. [00:09:14] You. [00:09:15] I don't know what the hell is going on with you, but you're. You made it weird again. And now I don't like you again. [00:09:21] And, you know, I'm even thinking about. Nick was on Nick Cannon's podcast, and Nick Cannon says to Nick, there were a few moments that, you know, Nick was being tested. Like, Ace came in banging the pots and pans to wake him up. And we all saw that on the show. And then Taylor came in and hit him in the face with the pillow. And Nick whooped on his ass right back with that pillow. [00:09:49] And Nick said, yeah, I can get. I can get a little petty. I can get a little petty. And Nick Cannon said, oh, so he was trying to test you? And Nick goes, yeah, he was trying to test me, but you can't little bro me. [00:10:03] Like, I'm not little bro. [00:10:05] And I genuinely. I think Ace has such a complex about him and insecurity. Yes, it's Napoleon complex, but it's also his ego. [00:10:19] I mean, this guy's ego is fucking ginormous. And he wanted to control everything so badly. He. [00:10:28] I think he secretly, a part of him enjoyed, like, the narrative that was spun of him being the ringleader. Like, he was the president of the villa, and I think he wanted to be the Cordell of the season. And Shelly was his Serena. They were going to be the black love couple. And he really enjoys the attention from people. [00:10:53] You know, like, he be on TikTok teaching him dances. [00:10:57] Like, people are his friends, and when he can control and manipulate them, hence three dreads, AKA Taylor. [00:11:06] As soon as you are more popular than Ace, and as soon as he can't dominate you and control you, you're a problem. [00:11:16] And Nick was never that type of person. He was not just going to go with the flow to the extent of, like, letting someone tell him what the fuck to do. First of all, you're younger than me, so there's that, like, girl, what? [00:11:33] And second of all, like, dude, you. Your ego needs this way more than I do. And even when he said on the reunion, like, I'm just gonna. I just listen to Daddy Ace. Like, Nick does not care. He is so unserious about this stuff. And Ace cares more about the. The Persona of, like, I'm the person in charge. I'm the captain now. Whatever that ego shit is. He's truly an egomaniac. It's crazy. But Nick is like, dude, whatever. Like, it was a joke to him. It was a joke to him. And when Ace realized that it wasn't actually serious and that Nick wasn't his little bro, he wasn't one of his minions. [00:12:18] I think Ace had a problem with it. Ace had a problem with it, and I think that's why he's threatened and he's lashing out in this way and attacking them because he wants to be where they're at. Like, yes, he already had a platform. He was already doing stuff. So for him to be coming at his friends like this, he is truly giving the biggest hater of them all. At this point, it just looks tacky and in poor taste to be talking about your friends in this way. Like, if you really cared about Alandria, that's the conversation you should be having offline. Truly, like, if that was one of my partner's really good friends and one of my really good friends, I say, girl, we need to talk about. [00:13:04] We need to. I know we said we don't talk about Bruno, but, baby, we need to talk about Bruno. We need to talk about the elephant that's in the motherfucking room, because this man is not here for you. Like, why would you. [00:13:15] And I. I knew as soon as he went on Speedy's podcast, I was like, it's gonna be some shit. It's gonna be some shit. Because Speedy has been playing into the narrative of them not being together, their connection not being genuine from day one. So I already knew it was gonna happen. But just the fact that they both doubled down, and even Speedy post the podcast coming out has doubled down and said that there's information that we know about. These are still real people. [00:13:49] Like, Shelly, your girl even said this. Y' all know me as a person. You spent time with me. You're not looking as a viewer. You know me. So if you know Alandria, do you think she would appreciate you bringing this in such a public way? [00:14:07] I don't think so. And I'm glad. She is unbothered and Nick is unbothered. Alandria had a big event at Tuskegee, and she said anyways. [00:14:16] And Nick is like, I don't read the comments. I'm not. If I don't see the negativity, then it doesn't affect me. And I'm just glad that they have each other and their support systems to help them through this, because it's like they can't catch a fucking break. They literally cannot catch a break. And it's sad that it be your own people. Sometimes it be your own fucking people. And especially as a black man to bring down another back black person and a black woman. It's just. It's poor taste. I just am like, if that was really your friend, you wouldn't have said all that, period. [00:14:55] And then we got the whole reunion of it all. And let me tell you, I've. I've got a lot to say about it, because as Lord said, baby, what was that? [00:15:08] That. [00:15:09] Honestly, that could have been two weeks ago. [00:15:12] Truly, that could have been two weeks ago. And it's crazy that the night before this happened, Iris and Pepe unfollowed each other. And Amaya and Brian did. [00:15:25] And the Iris and Pepe is insane because apparently, allegedly, allegedly, Pepe cheated on Iris. This. He was at some golf outing, and this girl was posting receipts with him, like, Kiki, haha. Laughing with him. [00:15:47] And then she posted in her Snapchat, like, had sex with Pepe in the hotel lobby. Now we have to work together for the rest of the weekend. Awkward. And I'm like, first of all, y' all are in a hotel. Why don't you just go to the room? Why are you fucking in the lobby? Like, that's crazy. Like, what? That's just trifling. That's just trifling behavior. Like, literally, get a room. [00:16:15] Literally get a room. That's insane. And why would you. Why? [00:16:20] Like, why? [00:16:21] I just. [00:16:23] You know, when I was watching this last night, I said, he got one too many slits in the eyebrow. And never forget that man got a joker tattoo. [00:16:33] So two of those things are. Mm, mm. Like, 303 said, don't trust a hoe. And Pepe is a hoe. I'm sorry. Pepe is a ho for sure. [00:16:46] And Brian and Amaya. I mean, I. [00:16:50] Truthfully, as sad as it is, it doesn't really surprise me because they won because of Amaya, period. Like, I think him standing up for her during the stand on business challenge was genuine, and he did have her back in that moment and was, like, a safe space for her. [00:17:10] Did I. Was I convinced that he was really into her like that? Not really, because I'm gonna be real. He is very mature and articulate, and Amiyah is very, like, aloof, whimsical. [00:17:26] And I could tell that the little things that he would. She would say her little Maya isms, her papaya isms. [00:17:33] He was not really fucking with that. I could tell he would kind of like, his eye will twitch, like, you know what I mean? I could just tell he kept saying two misunderstood people. But I was like, he's not really checking for her. He's checking for that check. He waiting for that check to clear. Okay. [00:17:51] And I mean, yeah, that unfortunately, doesn't really surprise me all that much. [00:18:00] Another thing that did not surprise me was Coco's explanation, which made no sense. [00:18:07] It made no sense. She's so beautiful, like, drop dead gorgeous. I will give her that. That face card is lethal. [00:18:15] But she was trying to say that that's not what she meant in her response on the podcast. Like, what they were talking about. It was edited to be a certain way. And I'm like, yes, but, bitch, that's not what you said, you know, and because the girls were talking about how Alandria was delusional on the podcast and you were being shady alongside them. So stand on that. Be like, yeah, I thought you were being like that and trying to clear it up in public versus privately. Don't piss me off. Like, that's some. [00:18:54] Some bullshit, girl. [00:18:56] So I was rooting for Coco, I really was. And she has just been such a disappointment since she walked out of that villa. I feel like a lot of these people are just trying to get clout and they're just saying a lot of stuff. And I'm like, frankly, I never need to see her ass again. Truly. Like, after this, I'm done talking about most of y'. All. Like, I'm. And I'm grateful for that. And for that, I am fucking grateful to not talk about a lot of y' all fucking. Just loser ass behavior, truly. Like, fucking duds. [00:19:31] Speaking of dud fucking Taylor, that. That apology. Smiling through the whole apology, and then to end it with you still my dog, girl. [00:19:42] What, like a meal at Cracker Barrel or a pair of American Eagle jeans? [00:19:49] I'm not fucking buying it. [00:19:51] I am not fucking buying it. Mr. 3 Dreadhead Girl. Bye. What is that? What is that? Oh, my God. I'm just like, you are so unserious as a person. I just literally can't just ride that horse off a. [00:20:11] I'm not gonna say a cliff because, like, I don't want. I don't wish him ill will, but, like, girl, go on and take a bow. Okay, take a bow. [00:20:22] And then the hood of it all. [00:20:26] I mean, there's so much to dissect with Huda on this reunion. I mean, first off, I'm glad that Shelly and Alandria called it what it was, because it wasn't about bullying her fans. [00:20:44] It was them being flat out fucking racist. And the fact that they asked her to address it to them, and she said she would, and then she didn't. That shit really pissed me the fuck off, because. What do you mean? You were too busy to address the racism, and then in the same breath, you have the audacity to say you were also receiving racism like my girl. What? [00:21:12] Your friends were receiving racism as well and you couldn't address any of that? Like, bitch, I'm sorry, what are you talking about? I just recalculating. My. My brain doesn't work that way. Like, sorry, I have common sense. [00:21:27] Sorry. I have critical thinking. [00:21:30] Sorry. My lobe is completely developed, so I don't understand that fucking mentality. It's fucking weird ass behavior. It's dangerous. Huda is a danger to black people, period. I'mma say it. I'm standing on that. Okay, if we gonna stand on business, I'm fucking standing on that. Because the way she treats black men and black women. [00:21:52] No. [00:21:53] And I will never put Huda and Lia in the same category because the minute that Lia's fans tried it with Sarita and Janae, the way Lia dropped everything to immediately say, get the fuck off my page with that. Do not. Might I suggest you don't fuck with my sis immediately. [00:22:15] No. [00:22:16] And Huda's using. She was busy. She was dealing with a lot as her. As she would say, an escape goat. [00:22:26] No, I. [00:22:27] No, I know exactly what the fuck you are like. That got her clout. Her fr. Her fans got her clout. [00:22:36] And it just doesn't make sense. Like what she said in the Call her daddy interview was, if I'm not hating on anybody, that means none of y' all should be hating on them. It's like, okay, everybody else, what are you like, that's still not enough. When people are putting a black woman's head on George Floyd's body and you on her fucking neck, that's not enough. [00:23:01] It's not. And I'm just so happy that Shelly and Alandria told her, we're not friends. We're not friends anymore because you're fucking weird and you're a dangerous person to be around. And that's it. I'm also pissed at fucking Peacock again for so many reasons. I mean, this season in general was just. [00:23:23] Thank God I was a nickelandria fan from the jump, because this season would have been fucking miserable if I didn't have them, truly. [00:23:31] But Nick addressed Nick, Jeremiah, and apparently Vanna. A few people addressed the racism and how they stood up for Shelley and Alandria and they cut it out. I'm like, why would y' all cut that out? Because there was a moment when Alandria was talking about it and getting emotional, and Nick is visibly emotional behind her. And this was either before or after he stood on business for his woman so I'm like, why would y' all cut that out? I just don't understand the way that y' all are moving Peacock. It's fucking weird. And y' all expect us to pay more? [00:24:10] I don't think so, honey. And also, when she was talking about how she felt bullied because Shelly said things that hurt her feelings, I just wish that Iris or Amaya, someone would have spoken up to be like, okay, you also hurt my feelings. So are you bullying me? [00:24:29] Are you bullying me? [00:24:31] Because I just wanted to see how she was gonna talk herself out of that one. Because the bitch, the only bully on this season was you. So let's be fucking for real, okay? Like, come on now. And honestly, next time someone asks me a question I don't want to answer, I'm just going to be like, for legal reasons, on behalf of Netflix, I can't talk about it. Like, what the fuck are you talking about? Y' all were literally on a red fucking carpet together. [00:25:02] Like, you could have stayed home. I'm sorry. You could have stayed home. There was rumors that she wasn't going to come, and, like, maybe she should have. And with the heart rate challenge, like, if Shelly would have done that to Jeremiah, and I'm glad that Andy asked this, like, if anyone would have done that to Jeremiah, how would you act if Jeremiah. Because when it was like, day five, when Amaya came in, you were calling her everything but a child of God. Same with Iris. [00:25:35] So, bitch, you know, you would have crashed the fuck out. And you saying, oh, I brought Kristen for you. Just the manipulation with her, The I loves you saying, and this is. I'm someone who's very affectionate. I tell, if I love you, you know it. I'm all about that. But to use it in a. In. In a way of manipulation, to be like, no, I love you. I want you to be happy. Like, this is why I'm bringing him back, girl. [00:26:01] That's why Shelly feels the way that she feels. Like, they played that clip back. And sure, that's what Huda said, but if you think about it critically and think about how you would feel if someone was playing in your face, but telling you how much they love you and they want this for you, no, you. You would be looking sideways, too, because I really think that she was trying to bring Chris back for herself, mostly for herself. And I think even a little part of her wanted Shelly to leave Ace so Huda could be with Ace. Because when they showed that heart rate challenge unedited, girl, I mean, I. [00:26:51] Girl, I. It was a lot. And, I mean, I also think Ace was wrong, too. It's not just her, because he was grabbing, too, but it was. [00:27:01] It was soft core. It was softcore. I wouldn't even say it was that soft, because it was pretty hard. If you're licking. If you're supposed to be my girl, you're supposed to be my friend, and you are licking my man's penis. [00:27:16] Girl challenge or not, that's. That's weird. [00:27:20] I've been watching this show for a long time, and I've never. Them heart rate challenges. Like, that challenge is usually fun, and it is a little risky and it's a little spicy, but I've never seen nobody do all of that. [00:27:35] Like, she was. That was intentional. That's the thing with Huda. She plays the victim, but she is intentional in everything that you do, because you know why? Speaking of Virgo season, that bitch is a fucking Virgo, so she knows exactly what she's fucking doing. You cannot fool me. [00:27:54] Like, Shelly and Huda had multiple conversations, and Huda stressed how it was for Shelly. [00:28:03] And you want me to believe that the person who has contradicted herself several times over Shelly? [00:28:14] No, I. No, y' all are fucking weird for that. I just. [00:28:19] I can't. And also, Shelly, I was glad that she said something about the way that a lot of these women have been moving in these podcasts. Like, you guys met me, you guys spent time with me. Y' all know me as a person. And to continue feeding into the narrative after having experienced me fully in my full, true self. Y' all are fucking weird for that. Y' all are fucking weird for that. I don't. [00:28:47] So I. I can understand, you know, how it looks. But if you really think about it, even with Ace and Shelley, like, sure, they said similar. They. They did have similar reasonings for sending Jeremiah home and sending Hannah home, but I feel like, you know, pushing the narrative, that they are, like, they're vocal about their opinions, right? Like, they say what they. They say what they say. They're like, I said what I said, and people agree with it. Does that make them a ringleader? Not necessarily, because I think a lot of us do that. I know I do that. When I say something, I stand on it. Otherwise, I wouldn't be saying it out loud. [00:29:35] You know what I mean? Like, if I'm saying it, then I mean it. And if you agree with it and you want to jive in on that, that's great. But I'm not trying to be a ringleader. I'm just standing in my truth. And I feel like that was kind of hard for people to process. [00:29:53] I don't think the reasoning was right at all. [00:29:56] But at the same time, they're standing in their truth. And even, you know, fucking Jeremiah, I feel like Jeremiah kind of ate. He kind of ate with this one. I mean, pulling out the literal Merriam Webster's definition of love bombing. He did that. And did he love bomb? I'm. Now I'm kind of questioning. It's a little murky for me now because he. He had some really valid points. And I'm like, at least someone like this man reads. He got his book club. He's reading. He knows what's up. Do I think he was there for all the right reasons? No. I don't know if all of them were. I feel a lot of the people here, it was a lot of influencers this year, so I definitely think that played into how this season was. Not what it should be. [00:30:50] But I will say justice for Hannah because I do understand, you know, she was locked in on Charlie and then she was locked in on Pepe. [00:31:03] But I feel like, honestly, they were comparing Hannah to Huda, and I'm like, why is someone, like, honestly, is Huda someone that you should be comparing anyone to? I think the fuck not. [00:31:20] I don't think so at all. [00:31:23] Okay. And honestly, Hannah, I think it was a little gameplay, too, because even in this reunion, Hannah won. Like, Hannah was one of my. [00:31:34] One of the winners. She. [00:31:37] She's a client. Okay. She's a disher. That's. That's my girl. I. And I genuinely think that they were probably scared that if she would have stayed in there and if she would have stayed with Pepe, they probably would have fucking won. [00:31:51] They would have fucking won. So I do think it was a little calculated, but I. [00:31:57] At the end of the day, they showed the exit poll, and Jeremiah and Hannah were at the bottom anyway, so they would have fucking went home anyway, regardless. So y' all kind of owe Ace and Shelly an apology on that one. Because when I. My job was dropped when they pulled up that. Because I definitely thought they were going to be higher, but it's like, they still would have went home. Fuck her regardless. They would have went home. Fuck her regardless. And fucking Austin, man. That nigga is on drugs. I posted a Judge Mathis clip like, that's a crackhead. Because, girl, this man couldn't even string a sentence together. [00:32:38] He was. That wasn't just tired. That wasn't jet lag, honey. [00:32:42] That was the substance and not the Demi Moore kind of at all, girl. And it's like, what the fuck was he pushing this narrative of Ace being a ringleader? Just because, like I said, just because he's vocal about his opinion and people agree with it does not mean he's running shit. Like, sorry, that man, that's a 22 year old man with his name tattooed on his back. I'm not. And I'm glad that Nick showed, like, they showed that because Nick was not about that. He was outnumbered, so he had to go with it. But not everybody. That man was not running. He was playing a game a little too hard, but he was not running. But again, I think that that's because it was a lot of influencers and all of that. [00:33:27] But, you know, I'm glad he said something to Amaya about the call her daddy clip because it was. It was weird. It was weird to be like it was on TikTok, blah, blah, blah. I'm like, girl, two plus two is not equaling four. What is it? [00:33:43] And also, honestly, the way that everybody voted for Amiyah, y' all thought Amaya was like Hannah and y' all got duped. Because I honestly am looking at Amaia very sideways after this reunion because the way she was so silent during the racism conversation, like, babe, you're Dominican, you are Afro Latina, so you can be a little vocal. But when they showed the clip of them talking about Huda, she said, that was mean. [00:34:15] That was mean. And it's like, yeah. Do you not remember? This was after she completely dogged Iris off, not even meeting her for five minutes, calling her every name under the sun but her name. Like, let's put the context together, girl. Don't. Don't do that. Because if you want to talk about that. And also that clip Huda looking over at them like she's giving theater, like derogatory. [00:34:42] Like, it was really. It's so off putting. It's so off putting. And you know, it's funny because Acorn, Zach, Zach with them veneers and that acorn cut, you know, he said Brian was just with the Maya for clout. [00:34:59] And you know, Brian, pot, meat, kettle, like, I don't know. [00:35:04] I don't know. But they not together no more. And that's the official end of this season. I'm like, I will keep my nickelandria content, please. That's all I need. That is all I need is my nickelandria. I am rooting for them. I'm rooting for Shelly in Ace too. I think that they are cute together. [00:35:27] There might be an Iris and TJ reunion. [00:35:30] Her and Pepe are done and they were allegedly together already, so who's to say? But honestly, I'm so done with this season. I. [00:35:39] I free myself. I release you. I release you. We are letting go of Love Island USA Season 7. [00:35:47] Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye. [00:35:59] Yeah. Peace out. [00:36:02] Now some love that I am here for. [00:36:06] Okay, Zoe Kravitz and Harry Styles. [00:36:12] Oh, they have been canoodling all over Europe. [00:36:17] And honestly, I'm so here for it. [00:36:22] I do think Harry's got a type of. Well, first, Harry's got a type. He do. He do like chocolate. Harry recently has been diving into chocolate. He was with Taylor Russell from Bones and all for a little bit. He was kissing somebody with the afro, and now he's with Zoe. [00:36:41] He. He's always been into older women. We know this. He do like an older woman, but he's. He's. He's now in chocolate. He went from Watermelon Sugar, which is supposedly about Tracee Ellis Ross. Did y' all know that? Because I just found that out, and that really rocked my fucking world. And that's when I said, oh, this nigga got a type. For real. For real. And y' all know how I feel about Harry in any directioner. And Zoe. Zoe is truly the ultimate cool girl because she's just. I mean, she is her parents child. I mean, Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet are truly the epitome of effortlessly cool, effortlessly chic. [00:37:26] Just embodies that. And her. I mean. [00:37:32] And I mean, girl, the definition of greedy in the Bible because you went through Penn Bashley, Channing Tatum. I know. I know you hooked up with Austin. I feel that in my spirit. I know that chemistry. [00:37:48] Girl, a titty was shown off camera. Something happened. Something happened. Okay. But I. [00:37:57] Zoe, girl. [00:37:58] Oh, man. To be. Ooh. To be a fly on that wall. Wow. [00:38:04] So lucky. But they. [00:38:06] They would be a huge power couple. [00:38:10] They would be a huge power couple. I did kind of think about, like. I mean, Taylor's so, like, bi. Like, she's like Harry, who. Like, the only hair I'm worried about is the hair on Travis because he's very hairy. [00:38:25] But I don't. I don't think Taylor, she would give her blessing. Like, she's not. She's not pressed about them. I think she would give her blessing, like, hope it works better for you than it did for me. [00:38:38] You know, like, she's not worried. [00:38:41] Something that is crazy that I'm not worried. About. I'm more shocked. Ms. Karen Huger from Real Housewives of Potomac is getting out of prison on September 2nd. [00:38:53] Okay? So she. She right in time for Labor Day, honey. She said, let me get my sale. She gonna get her a sale, honey. She said, those are when the best sales happen. [00:39:03] And they're still filming Potomac right now. [00:39:05] This is crazy. [00:39:07] I mean, reduce, reuse, recycle, honey. Shit. They. Wow, that's quick. [00:39:14] But, I mean, she. It. It. I don't know. We'll see if she gonna come. If she gonna come back. She just gonna pick up where she left off, go straight. I mean, I hope. I kind of do hope. I. I would love to see, like, her being released, the full thing, but she may take some time for herself to just decompress from. [00:39:36] From being in jail. But the grande dame is getting released, honey, and it's crazy. I. I wasn't expecting her to get out so quickly. That was such a short sentence. But, hey, she did her time. She did her time. [00:39:53] Now, someone who might be doing time that I'm actually super concerned about is Lil Nas X. [00:40:02] You know, he has been going through it the last week. I mean, he was walking down the street in his drawers and the cowboy boots. And I say yesterday to some friends, at least he had shoes on. I mean, technically they say no shirt, no shoes, no service. He did have the shoes, so there's that. [00:40:23] And he supposedly assaulted an officer. [00:40:29] And I. I mean, he's a big old twink. How was he assaulting someone? He probably was trying to get out of handcuffs. Like Countess Luann getting out them handcuffs. She was charged with battery of an officer as well. Assaulting an officer. But the thing with Lil Nas X is the rate and severity at which the legal action has been taken on him while someone like fucking Donald Trump or Kyle Rittenhouse is just free to roam the fucking streets and walk around. [00:41:05] Makes me want to fucking scream, honestly. [00:41:10] And on any white celebrity that has acted out, you know, like. Or committed crimes or faced any. [00:41:21] Anything with little to no legal action. Like, we have people who are assaulting women and have not faced any legal consequences and instead got called it or made into memes, like, this was intentional by police officers to try to make an example out of him. And there's literally. There's no other way around it. Point blank, period. [00:41:46] That's just what it is. [00:41:48] And I. At first, I thought it was a gimmick. I thought this was, like, press for his new era coming out, some new music he was dropping. But when he Posted that. That Instagram story, like, how scary it was. I was like, oh, he's for real. And getting those four felony charges. I was like, oh, shit, this is for real. This isn't a gimmick. This isn't a bit. This is real life. And I am. I am rooting for him because I do think he's got some demons that he's going through. I mean, he was an overnight celebrity. He was, what, like, 22 when Old Town Road came out? And, you know, he had it figured out for a while. And I do think it's hard when you lean into gimmicks and people care more about the person and the brand versus the artist and the artistry, or once you kind of start that and at such a young age, it's hard to find yourself and find your audience and find people who are really going to ride with you and your music. [00:42:56] And then, of course, sex, drugs, rock and roll, all of that thrown into it. These lobes not being developed, these young people getting these opportunities, no one to really walk them through how this works. [00:43:10] You know, it gets. [00:43:12] It gets depressing. And I just hope that he gets through this and he doesn't suffer any real jail time, because I do think that that's fucking bullshit. Like, how you got so many hello murderers out here still walking the streets, and this man was just his draws having a clear mental health crisis. [00:43:35] And y' all want to just put four felonies on him and lock him up because he's a queer black man. I can't. But that's the society we live in. That's the society we live in. Speaking of that Snoop girl. [00:43:50] What the fuck? Did y' all hear about this Snoop Dogg shit? This came on my radar, and I was like, of all people, Snoop, Really? You know what? We should have listened to fucking Tupac, because he has some shit to say about your ass, too. Okay, so Snoop had this whole thing on a podcast because everybody like to talk, they on a podcast. [00:44:12] And as someone who's literally talking, oh, my gosh, that's funny. But he was talking about how he took his grandson to see Light Year. And if you guys are familiar with this movie, Light Year, besides Buzz, the other lead in the movie is a woman who's a lesbian and has a baby with her partner. And I guess his grandson was like, grandpa Snoop, how does that woman have a baby with the other one? And he's like, I'm not trying to talk to him about this. Blah, blah, blah. Like, I was just trying to see an Animated movie with my grandson. And I'm not trying to bring all this up to him right now. And it's like, first of all, how the are you seeing Lightyear in a theater? That is old as hell. Didn't that come out? Let me look up. When did Lightyear come out? Yeah, nigga, that movie came out in 2022. What are you talking about? You just now taking your grandson to see it? That sounds like a ass excuse for you to spew some ignorant ass. [00:45:18] And let's not forget you were literally on the L word. [00:45:22] Hello? [00:45:23] So lesbians are cool when you get in a check, but not when you have to tell your grandson about everyday people. I'm sorry, what? [00:45:32] No, Martha, you need to get your friend together, okay? You need to tell your friend to act accordingly, because that is not it. That is not Uncle Snoop. More like Uncle Tom, but for gays. [00:45:49] What would that be, Uncle Roo? [00:45:53] Like, what is that? I don't know. I. Oh, I can't. Something else I cannot take. That really irritated me. And this is. This might be a little niche, but I know a lot of my dishers know about this. That's why y' all are here right now, because y' all like this. The. The niche and the queer. Where. Oh, yeah. [00:46:14] Betty who? [00:46:15] Who, Who? Betty who? Girl, I'm frankly, I'm so annoyed with her because I. I used to fuck with her hard. [00:46:26] I haven't fucked with her in a minute. [00:46:28] But there was a period in, like, the 2010s. It was like. I want to say, like 2000. Yeah, it was like 2009. 2010s, for sure. Especially, like, when the big proposals were a thing, and there was that beautiful proposal with the flash mob with the gay couple that was iconic. Somebody loves you. She's had some. Some bops. [00:46:54] She went on a lesbian podcast called Made it out, and she made these comments about how Renee Rapp might find her fucking husband one day. [00:47:07] And it really is like, girl. What? [00:47:10] She is trying to play the victim because she's married to a man, and people are disappointed in her because she used the queer community to market her music. [00:47:25] Like, we feel betrayed by you, Betty who? [00:47:30] And that's just something that you have to fucking live live with. [00:47:34] Like, for you to go on a lesbian podcast and claim victimhood when you were in a position of privilege because you're married to a man in a heteronormative society, it's just. It's fucking goofy ass behavior, and it's ridiculous. And of course, no one's gonna resonate with it. It's not gonna resonate with people. [00:47:56] Like, why are you talking about that? It's not an interesting narrative whatsoever. [00:48:03] Like, we live in a country that's literally stripping our rights away every fucking day, and you think it's important to get on a podcast and talk about your heteronormative relationship. [00:48:15] Girl, since you've been on the music scene, you've been with a man. She's been married to a man for what, like 10 years or something? Like, from day one, you were with a guy. So you've been using queer people to promote your shit or off rip. And I don't know if they're open. Maybe she had a little situation. She was very much leaning into the queerness. I was gagged when I found out she was married to a man. I was like, who? [00:48:41] Not Betty. Not my who, Betty. What? Huh? Come again? [00:48:47] I don't. I don't know. I don't know. But truly, from the entirety of her. Her career, she's been in the public eye. She's been with a man. [00:48:56] And I just. [00:48:58] That really grinds my gears. That really pisses me off. Because if you are a singularly gay person, you don't have the social fallback, the social safety net of being married to someone of the opposite sex. [00:49:14] So inherently the situation, you're not speaking for. For those people, because they're not going to marry someone of the opposite sex in 10 years. Lesbians are not going to marry a man in 10 years. Renee Rapp is a lesbian. [00:49:31] So sorry, girl, I don't know what the you're talking about. I don't. And I just don't understand how you're gonna go on a lesbian podcast and say, well, no one is really a lesbian. I'm sorry, like, what? Even if that's not what you intended to say, that's what. That wasn't what you meant. That's what you fucking said, bitch. [00:49:52] That's what you fucking said. Because some people will never marry someone of the opposite sex and don't have that heteronormative privilege. [00:50:01] So why the fuck are you speaking like, why are you trying to imply like, every lesbian is going to end up with a man? [00:50:09] And every time I've heard that, it's come from a homophobic person. So I'm sorry that you have gotten with them. I don't know what side of history you're on right now. Who. [00:50:21] But that shit is just so fucking whack to me. I'm just like, next. [00:50:26] Who? [00:50:27] Who? Next. [00:50:29] Thank you. Next exit stage left. Mama, please sashay the fuck away. And they better not use any of her music on a fucking lip sync ever again. [00:50:41] That's our news. So we're going to get into some of our dishes because I'm feeling a little famished. I'm a little hungy. [00:50:49] So let's get into it. [00:50:51] My appetizer this week is Hayley Williams new solo music girl. [00:51:00] Oh, my God. [00:51:03] This has been such a saving grace for me with. [00:51:09] With so much. With so much. I just. Haley has always been that girl for me. Just being so honest in her lyrics, being such an advocate for bipoc queer people. [00:51:27] Her artistry is so great. And just hearing this, I mean, it's a little darker, but it is so rich and it's so full of feeling and emotion. And there's a song, Mirazepine, which probably will be my most played song of 2025 because I'm like, my favorite medication and my favorite emo queen. Hand in hand, handshake emoji. I mean, she just is continually raising the bar. I love that she released this music on her own, not through any kind of label, just truly for her fans. It was like, oh, if you buy, like, I think it was, you know, she's got the hair dye line. If you buy something like that, you can get a link to it. And I'm just. I just think she's so cool and I appreciate her artistry. I mean, I've been fucking with her since I was in high school. Like, I remember being at the skate park and someone being like, have you listened to Paramore? And being like, no, I haven't. And all we know is falling altered Altered my life Changed my life for the better and I just. Yeah, I love seeing her evolve and become more into her own. And I. It's really, really good. I highly recommend giving it a listen. It's really, really fun. It's. Well, I wouldn't say it's really fun, but it. It just hits in 2025. This is an album that really fucking hits for real. It's so good. [00:53:09] And then my main course for this week is Australia versus the world Survivor girl. [00:53:19] Oh, my God, this is like Survivor on crack. It is so good. I mean, the minute that they hit those mats, it is game fucking on. And we've got some of the greatest to ever play. We've got David from Australia. He was. I knew Luke. I can't remember where I know Luke from. Luke was on another show. But David, I know from Dealer No Deal island this past season. [00:53:49] I knew Luke. I know his face. I'm not familiar with his game. But then we've got Tony from USA poverty from USA and my favorite player, Ms. Siree Fields from America, doing the USA proud. Okay. [00:54:11] It is so good, you guys. It's so good. [00:54:17] If you get a chance to watch it, honey, I've been watching on YouTube because we're not in Australia. I'm not in Australia, so I can't watch it. If I have any Australian listeners, oh, my God, let me know. What? That'd be crazy. I would live for that, actually. [00:54:34] But it is so freaking good. I mean, they are just. They are playing so hard, and it's kind of nice, especially compared to this last season of Survivor. It was very much a loyalty game, which is. I. I sure it's respectable, but when it comes to tv, like, this is what I want to see. Like, this is. This is what I came for, honey. This. Oh, it's insane. I have been, like, gagged and gooped every episode. I am fully fucking satisfied every episode. It's like blindside. The gameplay is crazy. I'm like, I don't even know how these people think like that. And I also always think, like, these people, like, for a Parv or a Saree, like, how does that affect your personal lives? [00:55:29] Because they're such good liars and manipulators. I feel like if I was close with them, it would kind of make me be like, you're a little too good at this. You know what I mean? Like, I even think of when Saree played the first season of the Traitors and, like, how Andy, the person that Surrey had gotten so close with, was so hurt by Suri when Saree won the first season of the Traitors because they were, like, convinced, you know? And I don't. They hadn't talked when they did that reunion. I don't know if they've made up since then, but you know what I mean? Like, I'm curious if that affects personal lives. I would love to ask them that. And I'm manifesting that one day I will be able to be like, whoa, how do you do this, especially? I mean, Saree and Parv are just. Man, like, there's a woman on there, Lisa, and she is so mean. She's like, I just want to play with Saree. Like, she's my favorite player. [00:56:33] I trust her. That may be stupid to do so, but I can't not play with her. And I'd be the same way. I'd be like, you may very well stab me in the back, but, bitch, I'm going to be 10 toes down for you. And how iconic if I do get blindsided or stabbed in the back by surrey fields or poverty? Shallow. I mean, hello, shallow. That's pretty fucking baller. So. Oh, my gosh. Look it up on YouTube. Australia versus the World Survivor it is. Oh, if you like a competition, honey. [00:57:09] Oh, they are. [00:57:11] They are. Cutthroat, honey. They are. Oh, it's. It's so, so good. It's so good. [00:57:16] And then my dessert for this week is going to be a movie that is canon not only in culture, but also my life that turned 25 years old this week, which is disgusting. Like, who said that was okay? Who gave that movie the right to be that old? But also, it makes sense because I can literally recite it word for word, shot for shots, and that movie is Bring It On. [00:57:52] I'm sexy, I'm cute, I'm popular to boot I'm bitching, great hair, the boys all up to stare I'm wanted, I'm hot, I'm everything you're not. [00:58:03] Let me stop, because I'll do that whole fucking opening number. Okay? I'm strong and I'm loud. I'm gonna make you proud. T T T Torrance, you're Captain Torrance. [00:58:15] Like, Bring it on is truly. [00:58:21] That movie altered my brain chemistry. That movie is such a capstone in culture for so many reasons. I mean, for me, it was. First off, it's. It was a huge queer awakening for me. Oh, my God. I mean, I always. Kiersten Dunst was like one of my girls growing up. And she still is. She still is. But when I was younger, the chokehold that that girl had on me. Oh, my God. And it's funny. Cause she's really not that much older than me. [00:58:59] Like, she's maybe like, what? Like 10, eight to 10 years older than me. But growing up, she always seemed so much older. And she's just so cool. And like, the 90s and 2000s really were like, her bag. And she was actually the only teenager when they filmed Bring It on. She was literally 17 when they shot that. Meanwhile, Gabrielle Union was 27 and literally looked like a teen. I. [00:59:29] And the fact that they both still look amazing, especially Gab Gabrielle. Oh, my God. Truly aging like fine wine. Like, she looks so good. [00:59:42] So between those two, Elijah Dushku. Oh, my God, girl. [00:59:49] Wow. Because I already was, like, feeling some kind of way. Cause she was in Buffy, and I was like, ooh. But seeing her, like, as Missy, I was like. And I still can't believe she's not a little queer. Because she give queer vibes down. [01:00:07] Okay, so Queer Awakening. [01:00:09] A thousand percent. One of them. Because at that point, I was like, what, nine or ten when that movie came out? So I was already feeling so fanny flutter. It's okay. Like, why do I feel like this? Well, what's going on? [01:00:23] And then also Cliff, AKA Jesse Bradford. [01:00:29] Jesse Bradford and Torrance Shipman are the blueprint. They are the blueprint for the summer. Roberts and Seth Cohen. And then Nathan and Haley, the OC And One Tree Hill. They like the emo rock guy or, like the jock. [01:00:48] And the opposites attract, you know, like, they really are the blueprint for that. And Cliff. Oh, my God. Oh, wow. [01:01:00] Because I was already feeling something for his sister, for Missy. [01:01:03] And then Cliff, my guy, because I think they're twins in the movie. They're supposed to be twins. And whoever did casting, like, I wish the casting Oscar was around when you did that movie because you ate that down. You really did your big one with casting this. And Cliff, I mean, not only is he so fucking hot, but also that was my gateway to, like, punk music. [01:01:36] Him telling her about the Clash. You bet your ass. I literally went to the library and said, let me. Let me get into this. Because if boys like that are listening to this, I need to tune in, okay? I need to lock in and see what the fuck is up. And that's exactly what I did. And between them and Good Charlotte hosting All things rock on MTV2 and seeing Kurt Cobain when I was a child thinking he was Jesus, those were, like my intros, my segues into the music that I love that has shaped the soundtrack to my life. [01:02:13] And Bring it on was huge. Like, I truly have a memory of going to the library and getting the Clash CD and listening to it. Because I was like, I have to. [01:02:26] So that on top of it. And even, like, Les, the male cheerleader, him questioning his sexuality and talking about being fluent. [01:02:37] I mean, they. They do say the F word a lot. They really. [01:02:40] They do. But I mean, that was the time people, you know, were saying it. Like, it was just, hey, bro. Hey, beep. Like, girl, what? But that was a huge thing, too. And I mean, it's just so. It really. [01:02:58] It just hits. That was, like, one of the first. Like, for me, it was. God, there's so many. Because you all know, I love movies. I love the cinema. But there are certain movies where you just are like, I. [01:03:15] Especially if you're a filmmaker or a creative person, there are certain movies where you're like, I want to do this to create the feeling that I just experiencing watching this movie, if that makes sense. [01:03:30] Like, the way I felt when the movie was over. There are so many times I would just immediately start it over. I'd be like, oh, Mickey, you're so fine. Rewind. I'm sexy. I'm cute. I'm popular, too. [01:03:46] Like, I would just hit rewind. [01:03:50] And that it really was such a moment for me of realizing, I really want to make this happen. I really want to create this feeling, because I want to feel like this all the time. And when you, like, lock in, like, it was setting the groundwork for me, knowing what I wanted to do. Like, I had already been doing it and, like, working towards that more so in, like, a performing way. I didn't really think about the writing aspect to creating it. It was just like, I want to be in this world. I know I want to do this in some kind of. [01:04:31] In some capacity. [01:04:33] And it really was like, the beginning of me locking into my true potential and my creative identity. And, I mean, there's just so many great bits in it between, you know, sparky pilastery, iconic. Hello. One of the founders of ucb, naturally, there's the Spirit stick. I mean, oh, my God, goes to Hades. [01:05:04] And even just the Clovers. I mean, the Clovers were so powerful for me, too, because being so young and at that time, of course, there was some representation. [01:05:19] But to see this squad of powerful black women literally walk into that stadium and be like, try to steal our bit. But you look like shit. We're the ones who are down with it. [01:05:33] Girl. [01:05:34] That was the first. I think that was one of the first reads I ever saw. And I said, oh, girl, I didn't know you could get down like that. Like, that really was like, wow. And just having that representation of being strong women, strong black women who aren't going to step down from these white bitches trying to take our culture. We're not going to step down. We're going to fight. And we want you to break your best foot forward. So if you're going to bring it, bring it all the way. Don't break it because you feel sorry for me or because you feel guilty. You have something, some kind of complex. No, break it because I want to beat the best. And it just. [01:06:18] Oh, God, it just means so much to me. I watched it yesterday and it really was just like, damn, this movie. I still get that feeling. I still get that feeling when it ends where I'm just like, wow, this just embodies my. [01:06:36] It embodies not only, like, my creativity, like, tapping into that, it also embodies, like, the pre 911 life. You know what I mean? Like, it was just such a simpler time. [01:06:52] It was so. [01:06:54] I don't want to say innocent, but it was just like before. [01:07:01] Before it got too heavy, before it got too real, you know, and it really is such a time capsule of a movie. Like, I would really put that in the time capsule for 2000s and it stood the test of time. Another thing, it also has shown me that cheerleaders are fucking athletes. I think, you know, when you're growing up and you see depends on where you are. [01:07:27] But when I was growing up, cheerleaders were like the girls that, you know, did their cheers at the football game and that was it. But this movie really showcase, like, the true athleticism it takes to be a cheerleader. Like, it is a lot of fucking work. [01:07:47] And it's also because of Bring it on, we've got so. I mean, so many movies. Of course, the sequels that spanned Bring it on again with solange and Hayden Panettiere, 8. [01:08:03] But even cheer, which was a phenomenal show, America Sweethearts, the Dallas Cowboy cheerleader show, it really just changed how people view cheerleading and really showed the world the cheerocracy of it all and how it really is. It's a sport. It's a sport. And it's made me respect them on a whole nother level to see the things that they have to endure to make it. Like, if you're really going to pursue it as a career. It's a lot of. A lot of work. And I just. Oh, I just love it so much. I can't believe it's 25. That makes me feel old as fuck. [01:08:50] Bring it on. [01:08:52] She brought it. She brought it and I brought it to y' all this episode. [01:08:58] Okay? She kind of brought it. No need to bring it. Cause it's already been brought, honey.
